Futures Festival. A careers fair with an impact.

On behalf of the Angell Town Funded Groups we proudly present Futures Festival.

Futures Festival is a not-for-profit careers fair targeting diverse young people from Angell Town. Led by the local community, this interactive careers fair will showcase six different industries, each connected to workshops that invite young people to learn by doing.

Upon registration, attendees will be given an Aspiration Tracker, a tool designed to monitor their personal development and interests as they progress through the fair. This will ensure the fair has a long term impact, enabling community organisations to connect participants to opportunities relevant to their interests post the fair. The industries showcased will include; Construction, Health & Social Care, Tourism & Hospitality, Creative, Tech and Business, each attached to live job vacancies. Also on offer to young people are career support and guidance areas, further education opportunities, a community market, sports activities, and live performances. And last but not least, free food kindly provided by Nando's and Ben & Jerrys.

The team at Spiral Skills are proud to be organising the festival in firm partnership withThe Big Local North Brixton andThe Angell Town Funded Groups, all sponsored by The Evening Standard Dispossessed Fundand The London Community Foundation

So far we are thrilled to have over sixty organisations involved, ranging from grassroots community initiatives to global corporations. Explore the exhibitor list here to see all the fantastic organisations involved.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone participating in the event and are excited to co-deliver an interactive and collaborative approach to careers education to Lambeth's young people.
